Adjust the Outside Rotation if you are getting Swoops or Flares in the corners of a non-oval V-Groove. The Outside Rotation controls how much the foot block will rotate before cutting the outside of the V-Groove. The outside cuts of the V-Groove are Exterior cuts, and cut into the matboard and not the V-Groove fallout. They cut on the second pass of the V-Groove, and are cut in a counterclockwise direction. If you have too much Outside Rotation on a non-oval V-Groove you will get a Swoop, too little rotation and you will get a Flare.
