Vertical Belt Tension: CMC 8500eSBT, 8500e, 8500, and 8000 | |

Reset the vertical tension if the vertical belt feels loose. | |
Click Reset Motors to turn off power to the motors. | |
Manually move the Head to the top of the Gantry and down again. Remove the lower gantry cover by removing the screw holding it in place. |   |
Manually move the head up on the gantry. With an 1/8” Allen wrench, loosen the Vertical Tension Screw on the bottom of the Gantry rail NEAR the screw that holds the Toothed Pulley. You may see the Toothed Pulley spring out downward. Snugly retighten the screw. | |
Reinstall the gantry cover, replacing the screw you removed earlier. |   |
