Mat Size Limitations

A minimum of 1.5” (3.8cm) border from the edge of the mat is required to keep the head from hitting the rail. The uncuttable area is displayed as a darker blue on the editor.

For less than 1.5” (3.8 cm) border, either cut the outside of the mat or use a rail dodge (see Cut Preview - Settings for rail dodge information).

Largest Cut on the 8000/8500e/9000

The head cannot travel more than 58.5” (148.5cm) to the right from the left edge of the mat, nor more than 38.5” (97.5cm) high from the bottom of the mat.

The largest opening possible for a single layer mat without cutting the outside is 57x37” (using 60x40 outside) with 1.5” borders all around (144x93cm on a 152x101cm with 5cm border all around). Changes to the configurations can affect this value.

Please Note: When cutting a reverse bevel or cutting from the front, the minimum border next to the rails is 1.5625” (4 cm) from the edge of the mat to the nearest object.
