Matboard Properties Click on the Matboard (not on an object). Click on the Properties Tab. Edit the individual proprietary adjustments available for the matboard. Optionally, Right-Click on the matboard and select Edit Mat to open the Matboard Properties. |  |

Width Enter the matboard Width dimension. Enter the matboard Height dimension. Sizes Button The Sizes button displays a list of Recent and Standard sizes. Swap Button The Swap button switches the values between the width and height fields. |  |

The Design section controls the details regarding the outside of the matboard. | |
Cut the Outside Select the Cut the Outside checkbox to cut the outside of the mat. When Cut the Outside is selected, the matboard displays as a solid color. |  |
Not Cutting the Outside Unselect the Cut the Outside checkbox to not cut the outside of the mat. Unchecking Cut the Outside displays the 1.5 inch (3.8cm) uncuttable region in a checkerboard pattern. The uncuttable region is the portion of the matboard that is placed into the CMC rails when cutting. Do not place any objects in the uncuttable region unless you select to Cut the Outside, or use a Rail Dodge. NOTE: Because of the zero waste clamping system on the Z1 and 9000z, the Z1 and 9000z will not display an uncuttable region unless the matboard dimensions entered are larger than the machine can physically cut. |  |
